Are table top exercises enough for the Dems to be doing now to prepare for disruptions to the 2026 midterms? We are counting on a flip of the House, and hopefully the Senate, to bring some accountability on this administration. But if the vote in enough states gets disrupted, delayed due to frivolous litigation, held up from certification, etc, then what more can be done to ensure the voice of the people is heard?

On all my podcasts the topic is always what terrible things Trump did today. I want to know what the Democrats should do over the next decade to clean up their brand, to rebuild America, and to get us back on track. To put it in a historic frame for your conversation with HCR I would possit that it always takes an individual to change America in big ways. FDR is the classic example. But others are Teddy Roosevelt, Reagan, and unfortunately Trump. Can the Dems find their agency with a committee? Or will it take an individual.

Please discuss: How are young working class men and conservative white women, two groups who backed Trump, feeling about how things are going now?

Love this. I have a two part question. With the destruction of the vote for black people across the south and women across the country with the SAVE Act, are we really still living in a democratic country? Has America moved to an actual authoritarian state and it just hasn't been communicated and/or are we still just teetering on the edge?

Long time fan (actually attended your first live show w/Kara at SXSW). My wife is the artist @tracyweisman who has an exhibit opening later this month in Newport, RI on this topic....more here: https://prforartists.com/some-birthday-america-tracy-weisman-solo-exhibition/
