What's missing from Anthropic's financials here is R&D spend. It is given for OpenAI. Also, SpaceX gave a discount to Anthropic on compute for, I believe, May and June 2026, which gives the illusion of path to profitability. Put these two things together and it looks like Anthropic is no different from OpenAI.
How can you spend $5.7B in sales and marketing?
