I know what AI is...this channel is supposed to be creative content and analysis and AI is antithetical to both. I don't want analysis from a synthesizing machine I want it from a human.
Problem is that a) AI Slop is a thing, it's everywhere, and it stinks, and b) I now know this Substack uses AI to create stories with the stated motivation being speed, and c) I would have to pay to find out exactly how that works and where the balance is being set between speed and factors that are more important to me (unique voice, factual accuracy, succinctness etc.) Honestly easier just to unsubscribe.
I am a Canadian and have been following you since you were going to the Gardens in Toronto with your father. What gets up my nose is the constant pleading to become a paying subscriber. As a multi-millionaire, the last thing you need is one more paying customer, so give it a rest.

AI is part of our life now. Thank you for sharing this. I always had a personal assistant. And now AI fills that for me.
