All the protections we had as Americans have been destroyed by Trump. I wish more Americans would see this. Thanks Ed for highlighting the destruction. Hopefully people will wake up and vote accordingly.

Thanks for doing the Job the WSJ should have done, better than they would have done it. Carry on

"In the beginning there was the word and the word is still Chutzpah"*Genesis 101 The audacious behavior of the ultra wealthy with Trump at the helm as the king of the law of the swamp make us all noxious. Thank you, Ed, for the comprehensive, blunt and timely analysis!

Thank you for the knowledge here. This is very well laid out factually and gives a depressing overview of the institutional destruction currently infecting the US. Thank you for sharing Ed.

Great post - I continue to feel more and more unsafe in this version of America.

When the Trump world tells us who they are, we have to believe them.

Ed, once again, many many thanks for the clarity.

Thank you for shedding light on this issue. While there has been a quantitative decline in enforcement actions, there has not been a clear qualitative retreat from enforcing insider trading laws. This change is better described as a shift toward fewer, more selective cases than a direct reduction in policing insider trading.

That said, the most outlandish cases seem to involve members of Trump's immediate family and friends.

As an ordinary citizen and investor, I plan to vote for change in the upcoming elections. I'm also reminded of your recent guest, Josh Brown, and his commentary on this topic. This kind of illegal activity has always occurred, and there's almost nothing you can do about it.

What an eye-opening example of how much has been done in just a single year.
