Your viewpoint has been swayed by the orchestrated groundswell of positive media by the manufacturers. THEY are the ones suggesting benefits of their drugs, not the FDA. Don't get roped in to their PR that this is greatest thing since sliced bread. It will take MANY years of research which will be difficult in this era of cutbacks in research funding; private companies could fund it, but it's long-term expensive proposition, and it's in their business interest to only make positive claims, so how credible a system would that be?
You are overlooking the many negatives of long-term use of GLP-1s to maintain weight loss: lack of proper nutrition, the fact that unnaturally making our digestive system do not what it is "designed' to do and make it do unnatural processes which will inevitably be detrimental to one's health-how could it not be?
This is just the latest iteration of The Answer, which we've all heard before in the fat wars-take some pills, get surgery one way, then another way, cutting back on healthy eating to fit the calories of an alcoholic drink into your calorie count.
85% of us will not be on GLP-1s. And thank goodness. Being thin is not a health goal, it's a superficial, unhealthy, vain goal. We humans are not supposed to all look the same. This phase will pass like all the rest.
The podcast you did with Sam Harris was the most awful, out of touch, loathsome crap I’ve heard out of you probably ever. Probably should’ve just kept that episode to yourselves.

Cool that means we get a vacation too.
Will you please make a note in your calendar to be sure and tell us if your prediction was wrong?
I'd like to know that. Thank you
Galloway: I’m joining the University California Board of Regents
This is the only board I have ever wanted to serve on.
Every Board That Galloway Has Ever Served On: Yeah, we never much cared for Galloway either.
