If you're a Dem running for office, you need to read this!

What matters to those under 30 and how Trump is making life worse for them:

1) Cost of living - message: tariffs are driving up prices

2) Safety at home and abroad - message: Iran War is another threat to our security

3) Pride in our values - message: Democracy and human rights matter

* elected leaders chosen in free and fair elections

* fair laws and equal treatment of all people are essential

I'm an old lady but I've settled on a reaction to all this mess that aligns me more with the sentiment of the younger cohort as you've outlined here. I think the answer to Trump's wrecking our alliances and leadership role in the world is radical acceptance. I think it presents an opportunity to completely change our military posture, while having the amazing effect of freeing up the money we've been spending on bases and old-technology weapons systems to improve public services at home and start paying down our debt. One crucial point, however: we will spend MORE on our troops. Better pay (there is a food pantry on a base near where I live for crying out loud) and living conditions such as housing.

It's really OK to be just another country among all the others. It really is.

Fox News watching Boomers are cheering on the war because they want retribution for the 1979-80 Hostage Crisis.

Everyone under 50 remember the GWOT and has no interest in replaying that.
