Inversion for perspective is key.

Important to fully understand both sides.

I fully agree the Trump Admin is 'breaking' the old System - literally and figuratively.

The old System was outdated, unsustainably imbalanced and systematically served the few at the expense of the many.

But I do not agree that there is no underlying strategy to build a New System.

For example, consider how reliant the US/West is upon China for Critical Products (e.g., rare earths) - a dependency (chokepoint). And how much investment has begun flowing into Critical Product Production in the US/West as a result of the Tariff catalyst.

While many may not like how the admin is doing it (often brash) or the change that will ensue (a lot of wealthy/powerful people benefit from the old System), there is an intentional strategy. And that strategy and it's intent, not the overlaid bias or noise, is what we should be focused on.

Arguing about the symptoms is exactly what adversaries want - that is how you divide and defeat the US from within. To build a better future, we must focus on the foundation - the root of the problems.

We need open, constructive discourse about root issues and related solutions to enable progress. No more band-aids and can-kicking. And no better time to start than now.

Check out the 2-part piece below - written in the heat of the Tariff 'uncertainty' a year ago. Curious what you think. At the very least, an opener to discourse:

The underlying purpose of Tariffs:
